Wow, I'm suprised at the response this is getting, thanks again everyone.

This car has been through a lot of stages, so it has taken a very long time to get to this point, and hopefully this will be nearly the final stage. I spend too much money on this car.

I'd like to get anywhere between 420-440 whp at 17psi....we'll see how this RA seals hold up. They've held up good for about 15,000 miles so far, but I do see a LOT of blow by.

The front bumper is made by Vertex of Japan.

Okay next question.... haha
The V-mount is the regular one made by Rotary Extreme. Finally, yes I relocated my fuse boxes and battery to the rear passenger bin....
here is a link to the thread, but I'll post up some finished pictures in a bit.

Props for a killer photo too. How did you get that effect. Low shutter speed?

That'll do it

I'm not really sure what RPM i see full boost since I'm only running 12lbs and I don't really floor it yet. Once I put it on the dyno I can get a better idea.

I took a few more pictures, but they're in my car at my friends shop.

I can't believe that you're suprised at the response you're getting. You built a gorgeous car that is going to be a powerhouse. You deserve all of the praise that you're getting because you put lots of work and money into that car for a long time. Now you have a piece of rotary powered art!!

I don't think it's really necessary...I'd rather keep crap out of my engine bay, but you could.

Right now my car is at my friends shop, waiting for me to finish working on it. Here is what happened on Sunday.....Thanks to the "hidden element" oil filter pedistal from the group buy.

I was leaving my friends shop after changing the spark plugs, when I came to a light about 1/4 mile down the road. I looked down at my oil pressure and it read ZERO, since there was no shoulder I couldn't pull over. I saw a bit of smoke coming from under the hood at this time. As quickly as I could I drove another 1/4 mile before I had a shoulder I could pull off on. As soon as I pulled over I turned the car off and popped the hood. Since the smoke was coming from the turbo side of the engine bay I looked there first and couldn't find anything but a lot of oil and smoke. Next I looked to the drivers side of the engine bay, what I saw I hope to never see again. The entire driver side of the engine bay was covered in oil and puddles of it. After a bit of searching I found the oil filter was out of place, so I touched it and it came off by the same place it did last time. This should have never happened. I installed this product correctly and did not over tighten the filter itself. When I was attempting to remove the pedistal base the hole the banjo bolt threads into started turning with the bolt and started to kink the oil return line from the oil coolers.

I pulled the oil drain plug and NOTHING came out. Luckily I wasn't running the car long so I don't think any engine damage happened. If there is engine damage or damage to the turbo I'm not too sure what I'll do, or what I can do.

We'll see tomorrow when I start the car up. here is a picture of the pedistal.
Apparently I must have installed the oil filter wrong, or knocked the center post when I was installing the temp sensor (note how far away from the center post the sensor is). I didn't realize you could install an oil filter wrong, and if tightening the oil filter compromises the pedistal then the deisgn is flawed right there.

Dan, good job at pissing off FDNewbie. Your FD is so freakin beautiful man. I love it.

Oh and I'm sorry to hear about the scare w/ your oil block adapter. Why don't you just use the Greddy oil block adapter I used on my car? Remember that one? Never had a problem w/ it at all...

Your engine bay looked so clean and you gotta be so bummed about the oil mess you got all over it now. Hope it doesn't take too long to wipe it down, but what a pisser! That is one gorgeous car/engine bay! Hope you get to enjoy it before winter sets in.

I actually got it all cleaned up now, I mean I got it fixed....luckily it doesn't appear to have damaged the engine. I couldn't clean up all the oil and some seemed to get into the bell housing, which in turn flung oil all over the passenger side of the engine bay from the inspection plate. Hopefully most of it is done coming out so the DP will stop somking soon. The polished pieces really didn't get any oil on them luckily.

Fuse box relocation? When the hell did you do that? That's nice a clean with that **** out of the way. I did not notice till you now mention it. Sounds like a pain in the ***. How much time did you put into that? Nice touch Dan..

Wow, that fuse box relocate looks incredible, Write up? I’m guessing it’s pretty much the standard lengthening the wires, just looking for any tips or tricks.

Thanks Dave....I actually did it like last winter I think so it's been some time now. It's a lot cleaner in the engine bay. I left the diagnostics box in the engine bay though for two reasons. 1: It's a PITA to move and 2: It's easier to get to. All in all I probably put a good 20 to 25 hours into the install, maybe more. But once I figured out what wires I needed it wasn't too bad, just a lot of soldering and such. But I think the final outcome was worth it. Just wouldn't like to do it again anytime soon.

Len if you look back on one of the pages you can see the writeup link.

haha, I almost did but didn't have enough wire...plus I would have to hear the constant "click click" from the fans switching on and off.
