I haven't heard many rotaries with open wastegates before, what will it sound like? Get a video

We certainly considered....
....side exhausting it. The way this wastegate is oriented would make it hard to do. When the car is finished, we'll post the sound and vision of the beast.
As an aside, a couple of nights ago, Freddie's car fired off some flames from the tailpipe with such hang-time of at least 6 seconds, I thought his bumper would burn off.

Banned. I got OWNED!!!
In Japan, they use to run it like that back in the LATE 80's (when the FC first came out, even on the stiock turbo) That's how I've always run mines, it supprises people and they think the car blew something because it only comes on when the wastegate opens but sounds MEAN!

i dont drive the car much right now and it is in storage so i havent welded a pipe onto the flange yet, but was planning to do something similar to yours just to get it away from the bodywork and engine bay
