Overboosting

My car has been acting up lately. It's tuned for 15psi but lately its been spiking up to 30psi. I know that its not safe to be pushing the car as it is not tuned for that boost level. I havent taken it up to redline or anything but just around 4.5-5rpm and its shooting up to 30psi. What can be causing this?

Btw I'm still running the stock map sensor and my mods are below. Thanks for any input.

Tony

Boost controller, wastegate or plumbing problem.

If its come about as a problem, after it's been tuned, look at the items that are supposed to control the boost.

i had the same problem last year and popped the back plate because i had too much fuel on the high boost side of the map thinking it was safe. i pulled everything apart and found that the t4 gasket had split apart right down the seam. im assuming thats what it was cause everything was ok. im not an expert just explaining my experience.

I think hes talking about the vacum lines! where are they hooked to?
and
Since you have an open dump on your wastegate is it opening under pressure? you will hear it when it opens if its vented to the atmosphere
