Exclamation Only 7psi at 6000rpm

Hi guys, I hope anyone can help me with my problem.

My upgrades:
GT35R single turbo kit from rx7-store, apex power fc, front mounted intercool, 2,5" intake pipes, 3" downpipe, tail wastegate, ssq blow-off, 1600ccm injectors secondary injection, walbro fuel pump, fuel-pressure at 20psi at idle.

There is no leak in the intake.

The boost is fine at 14.5psi but when the rpm strikes the 6000rpm mark it fals down down to 7psi.

Also a nother problem is when i try to get on speed there is an engine cutout. I sometime have it if at pushing the padel to the metal, too. There are many cut-off like fuel cuts. Im not sure but this could be a problem with the correction maps.
I know these two problems are not the same as the boost but if anybody knows something about it I would be glad to know.

I hope anybody can help me out.
Sorry about my Englisch. I live in Germany and here is not really somebody who has the expirience with an 13b gt35r single turbo.

Best regards

Sounds like a fuel pressure issue to me. Maybe your pressure is falling off in the higher rpms. Faulty fuel pump wiring maybe???

Be very carefull 'putting the pedal to the metal' with your current problems. You're asking for a blown motor as-is.

The fuelpump wireing should be fine. I used new wires when I was installing it. I forgot to write that. Iīm not using a greddy profec or an other boost controller. Some guys told me it also works with the stock control valve.
Could this be the problem?

Thanks for this advice goodfellaFD3S. I know thats not a good running system but at the moment I testing around with the car so it is not really avoidable. I will be carefull in doing tests in full load. Thanks

20 PSI at idle...that doesn't sound right at all?

Can you get a temporay fuel pressure gauge to watch while you drive the car?

I didn't even see that, 20 psi is way too low. Your idle fuel px should be at 40 psi or higher.

Ok I think we are on the right way. It is not possible to regulate the the pressure up to 40psi. I will change the fuelfilter and try it again.
but the engine runs better now.
I let you guys know whats going on.

My dealer told me it would be the same as an nippon denso fuel pump. Do you think the walbro pumps are not good for this kind of tuning?

leak? it is no leak in the intake system. the intake is leakproof. i tested this many times. but i think it will be solved when i use an other boost controll system. something like a greddy profec-b boost controller. I hope that this upgrade will be the answer to the problem.

Thats wrong! You probably don't want to spend money for workshop! We have build many single Turbo RX-7s here in Germany.

So please, don't tell there is nobody here in Germany who can help you.

Well, I'm not angry in any way, just to let you know, that you should get some infos before you posting. I know German Forum is not famous about tuning questions, but you will get the info about ppl which tuned RX-7s before.

Sure, we can help you, drop us a call after 18:00 o'clock or leave your phone number and I will call you back and we can talk about your problems.
