So is there any pictures or walkthroughs about how to break down the engine for a single build? Im mostly worried about the rats nest.

If you are running single turbo setup then the rat nest should no longer be there. There should only be about 5 vacuum lines one for BOV, FPR, WG, Break Cylinder Slave thing and MAP sensor. Unless you're asking about how to convert it to single and eliminate the rat nest in the 1st place. YOu'll need blocking plates to block most of the openings under neath the intake manifold. If I manage to remove my engine in time I will post pictures unless someone else can do that before me.

I'm in the process of removing mine of the car for a rebuild, just struggling with lack of proper tools and jacks to disconnect the engine from the gear box. Would be handy if there is guide or pics to show how to remove the engine without removing the gear box.
