Laying Down Rotary Law
want your engine to last?
use a filter for daily driving
make sure you buy a GOOD one
cheap ones can collapse with the intense vacuum
of the turbo.........
Track? then yes take it out then
I'm sure Im going read
"I've run for a couple of years with just a screen"
Ok open the engine
you'll see

I recommend you to go with the Vibrant Performance filter, it seems like they are made with silicone flanges, that can handle the intense heat.. My K&N filter just cracked and was no good to me. But my Vibrant filter is great!!

A K&N lasted about 500 miles on my R85 mounted directly to it. The heat took the strength out of the rubber and caused it to rip. I bought a Samco coupler to attach to the compressor housing and then put a 2" stainless pipe in there to mount the filter to it, now I don't have any problems.

That's exacly what I'm talking about.. With the Vibrant Performance filter you can just mount it directly to the compressor housing with no risk of cracking or melting rubber.. I dismounted my Vibrant coupple of days ago, and it was just as ine as the day I got it
I'm more than satisfied..
