i get a pair of used oil coolers because mine was damaged and i am thinking to paint them to look like new.
is it ok or i will reduce the cooling eficiency?

I had my bumper painted last year and the stupid bodyshop sprayed paint all over the coolers (fully coated them). I was really upset at the time, but luckily noticed no difference in oil temp on the street (haven't tested this on the track though)

I would think radiator paint would have little to no effect on them, it is made for heat exchangers after all. I just wouldn't go too thick with the coats.
