having innovate lc-1 xd-16 issue

looking for some help with my xd-16 reading incorrectly. i have an lc-1 from innovate and love it but its kickin my *** at the moment. it was working fine for about 3 months, i re routed the wires and accidentally hooked the power and ground backwards. it didnt come on so i realized my mistake and corrected the wires. now the gauge reads 4.3 or so. i get the correct a/f readings through log works on my lap top though. the gauge works like it always did but the number range is way low. anyone have an idea on how to re set the gauge?

Are you sure the serial connection between the XD-16 and the LC1 is good? Unlike the cheaper Innovate gauges the signal is completely digital.

yeah the two serial plugs going to the gauge are tight. i haven checked the terminator plug yet but if the readings on log works are accurate then its got to be fine. the only difference with the wires is that i put a connector in where it used to just have butt connectors. i did a free air calibration too, thinking that was it.
