What wastegate are you going to go with? What size will fit.

I believe that the wastegate flange on the manifold is for a HKS standard WG(just what I've heard) but I haven't heard of anyone being able to use a turbo with a large hotside with this manifold without modifications.

T78 wont fit on it.. at least not without making an adapter.. Yes the WG flange is a HKS standard..

Largest single i have heard of was a TO4S with a small .6X-.84 A/R..

Yeah, but from my understanding the tubing up to the whole is sized for the standard.. But i have not measured that myself..

Actually i don't own one. I was gonna get one, but with the lack of knowledge on it, i decided not to, well so far

The hole for the wg is 50mm, which is exactly the same size as the Racing wg. And YES, the standard flange is the same as the Racing flange. The Racing SS flange and GT flange is the one that is different

The holes line right up for my t-78 exhaust side. The WG flange will have to be modified to accept a larger size.

I remember seeing a lot of threads on this manifold (and others) awhile back, but I can't find any of them now for some reason. Looking to buy a manifold sometime in the next year in effort to convert to big single on an RE (in FC) but not sure what to get where to look, etc. Any links to this manifold or others (or threads on the subject)??
thanks!

Hi

I`m about to install a OBX manifold on my 13B-RE in my FC. I have a A/R 0.96 turbine housing and it touches the lower intake manifold a little, so I have to mount a spacer between the engine and the OBX. I thing a 5mm spacer will be enough...

Please let me know how this goes. I may want to talk to you about your swap anyways, but very interested to see how this works. Other threads I've found have indicated that the OBX manifold doesn't fit well without a lot of work and spacers, and I want to see if the RE changes that any.

You get your manifold off of Ebay?

Thanks!!

Hi!

Yes, I got it from Ebay...
...a 5mm spacer will be enough because I have tried to mount it with dual exhaust-gaskets, and that was almost enough.

I have a couple of pics!
