OBX manifold on an FC

I am looking at those Cheapy OBX manifolds on Ebay.(I know,I know,But hear me out!).
Anyways,I am Swapping in a TII engine and I got thinking of Course,go bigger,go bigger.Then I think!!!
Can you put a S5 Stock Turbo onto an OBX manifold and Just Block off the Part for the wastegate?Reason:I install the manifold NOW,and Use the stock turbo.Later on I don't have to Take off "a" manifold, when I decide to "go bigger".I already have it ON the engine and I just slap on the Turbo,Put on a Wastegate and Voila!
Am I thinking Corectly?.Input Please.( I know N/A's, but Turbos are a whole new Ball game!).Cheers,STYX!~

I believe those have a T4 flange and the stock turbos' flanges are different. Unless you make some kind of adapter it won't work.

again, no. You can't

I dont see the point on putting a stock turbo on an aftermarket manifold. Even if you could, the gains to be had would be minimal. Yeah, you can eliminate creep by going external gate but you still need a t4 footprint turbo to fit that manifold. Full race, peak boost and several other companies can do a v-band manifold for ya but they cost alot. You can slap whatever turbo you want on a vband jawn within reason. Just buy a flange that bolts to said turbo and weld the v-band adapter onto it.

You could , but as mentioned there wouldn't be any point to it. You would need to make an adaptor to go from a T4 to the stock hitachi flange. That is even if you can call that "D" shaped chinese flange a divided T4 flange. It just means more reworking of the downpipe, lines, piping when upgrading to a full T4 turbo later down the road.
