OBX manifold does not fit my s5

Just for information sake, my 1.15 P trim divided turbine, does not fit on my s5 motor,

I am using a extra engine flange to space it out also, and it still doesnt fit. I also spaced out the turbine with a deck of cards, and still no fit. I also had to redrill the OBX engine flange, which was difficult, even with Ti bits.
The turbo flange also has one bolt that is off. pretty cheap, but it was cheap to buy at $175.

I have to get the manifold rewelded.

On the good side, the OBX manifold seams to fit well with the stearing Idler arm other related componentry. and the Wastegete looks to be in a good spot, although I plan to get a different flange welded on also.

FYI

Fitment is damn near ALWAYS off. I honestly think they built the manifold to fit a car with NO LIM. But, if you can get it modded it works fine. Rather than use all the extra flanges and spacers, see if a shop can just cut the flange off and reweld it at a better angle. I did it and it works great!

thats what Im doing now. what turbo are you running with your OBX manifold.

the manifold looks good visually, lengths seam good to me, they're not equal. The diameter is pretty big, looks like 2 1/4.

Flange thickness is 11mm on the engine and turbo flange.

two holes were off on the engine flange and one is off on the turbo flange. But I have to replace the turbo flange to get it changed.

I couldnt tell you what the pipe thickness is, because the only place I can see it, it has been ground smooth.
But there is no weld there.
Im getting this getting this inside part welded also for strength. Its a sharp edge, im guessing it would create a hot spot and could crack.

I'm running a TO4R. It's not the OBX manifold though, but one of the copies.. I'm not sure how it compares in thickness to the steel on the OBX, as I've never seen one... But it's held up on other cars I've seen use it..

I think OBX, SS, and stone are all the same manifolds. Maybe a slight difference, but not much.

OBX
