Noob wastegate question

Hey guys, am currently installing a bigger turbo on my car, it has a 50mm external wastegate, basically how do i plumb this thing in. I have made all the exhaust up etc, but not exactly sure on what lines go where.

Youll need a nipple on your compressor cover.
A 6mm vaccum hose from compressor cover to the bottom nipple on your wastegate.

This will make the gate run the minimum boost on your spring.

I've always wondered if its important to have the nipple on the compressor cover? I'm sourcing mine at the Greddy elbow.

I have mine going to one of the nipples on the back side of the manifold. Of course the other one is running to the boost controller. Am getting 25psi on a 12psi spring.

well if you plum it to the manifold, once your wastegate opens, there is still a bunch of air in the IC/pluming so running it to the turbo it's self makes sure you dont spike.
