Hey Vosko,
Is sunday @ atco the last chance for me to get some times in for my car this year? Like I said before, my car is in peices again (for like the umpteenth time!) for fuel system mods and other expensive junk. I'll probably be out of commission for the next week or two. I may still go to the event on sunday but maybe just as a spectator if my bitch girlfriend lets me go without her.

Glad that you're back on the track, but the 116 trap speed seams low. My best was a shitty 12.5 @ 115 on twins. You need to tune that thing and run some real boost. Replacement differential is comming soon and I have a new secret tuner. I'm comming for ya

Theres an Old phrase that says: "First you have to crawl before you walk" Vosko your exactly right After the car was brought down from the dyno a decent amount of fuel percentage was added over the program. Just for that specific reason, so you could crawl and get use to the car. I mean this is not your FC as you already found out. Your getting better and better and when the time is right Ill bring the tunning to a better program. Relax what is the hurry? you waited so long for the car just learn how to become one with your baby.. You went from a crappy 13.00 to a less crappier 12.00 so far your doing great.. Just practice your power shifting, is alot easier to power **** when the car has less power...

Montego. There are a few around Raleigh. Not too sure if any of the other Montegos run a DP, MP and Apex GT CB, so that is probably the easiest way to ID me...by the noise.

Take your time vosko... Powershifting is like an art. Once you get good it will become natural. It just takes time. Also do you have a short throw shifter?

 

Be careful, powershift it too much and you'll be rebuilding the tranny soon.

 

Yup... Thats the downfall of powershifting. Too much or missing gears will most certainly kill your tranny. But who wants to granny shift in a race? It's a catch 22...

 

I dont have to powershift to chirp 4th, big revs and a clutch dump and *CHIRP*

powershiftin is where you dont use the clutch right?? If this is the case why would you do that while you are racing?
