No full boost in first gear??

For some reason, I took the car out this morning and when WOT in first gear I only get about 0.5 bar, then in second gear and in the rest of the gear I'll get my full boost which was 1.0 bar. I don't know what could cause this as all the vacum line looks to be there and good.

I'm running a T04S single and HKS EVC boost controller.

HAHA me too. I only get about .45 BAR of boost in first. Then in all of the other gears I hit 1.15 BAR.

What exactly do you mean? So are you saying this is normal? I was just wandering. Because honestly when I first bought the car, it was too damn fast that I had to just concentrate on the road. But I've been paying attention lately to boost. And first gear the most boost I get will be 0.5 bar and then gradually going to 0.8 bar when nearing redline...
Then when shifting in the rest of the gears, it's boosting flawlessly...

This is 100% normal because the gear winds out too fast.

Oh really? and you are running on a GT42R with a Half-Bridge?

How much HP does your car make? Mine makes 402 at 14PSI.
Although I do hear like theres a loud leak in first gear, similar to when I use to had stock twins...
But then I guess it's cool, cause in the rest of the gear, it feels so damn good.

If you want to take off with full boost in 1st gear get a two-step boost controller.

But then again, unless you are on SERIOUS SLICKS you wont have enough traction to use it anyway.

I get full boost in first gear on my gt35r. Maybe my turbo is smaller therefore I get the full boost in first gear.
