nitrous with my setup, maybe?
nitrous with my setup, maybe?
I'm not a big fan of nitrous, but it does give bang for your buck. A friend of mine is selling his wet kit, and it is a 35 shot. I've been wanting to go with a bigger turbo, however financial reasons right now keep me from doing that. So, is it possible to set this thing up safely with decent benifits? All i'm looking for is a little more top end power for my apexi rx6 turbo. I assume that I will need to retard my timing in the range it kicks in by a degree or 2. I'm already running 18psi on pump gas with 1200cc injectors, so my duty cycle is getting up around 90% by redline, do I need to worry about maxing out my injectors? The last thing I want to do is blow my motor up out of stupity, so any advice is appreciated.

Your injectors have to be maxed, especially at that boost level. When you use Nos, yes you will have to retard timing by 3 degree's. You will also need to have a very good ignition setup and I don't mean an amp.
