NGK B9EGV question

ok i got some B9EGV because alot of people run them and i heard good things about them and im wondering at what gap should i set them? i have a street ported engine and i was running EIX's and i always had ignition breakout and i had them gapped at .048 leading because i have a MSD on the leading side and .032 on the trailing side. thanks

Most gap between .020" and .025". I gap at .025".

The EIX need a larger gap for a smoother idle due to being RESISTOR plugs but what you ran was too large for boost. Gap the EIX at .030" and they will be fine.

Why .048"?????

because i heard from people that i talked to that because i have a MSD box i have to run like .048 of gap and yes i said the same thing, why?? but i had them before to .028 and i had so much problems with them and the idle thing too. that why i change to EGV's because i wanna try them and i can boost more that .70 barwithout ignition breakout and have better start up. BTW how long EGV last?
