newbie.....

yea im new to rotaries rx-7's so i was wondering, i did a search but theres so many mixed opinions i was wondering which would b the best turbo to go w/ on a stage2 ported 13b-re w/ 3mm seals..? i am ordering the motor in january when i get my taxes back. i might order it before not sure yet. but i was leaning towards a t70 but i hear the compression maps suck for them, im kinda new to turbo's as well until my friend bought a dsm. hes helpin me out w/ em and all but he doesnt kno exact stats on turbo's. i got a 87 n/a 13b right now. i was also wondering what wastegate to go w/? and if anyone tryed out one of those intercoolers on ebay that r like 275$(they have names like apexi and hks next to the description but they have the same pic and price...)? i mean they r cheap but r they cheap for a reason or a quality product? also if u list these products can u tell me how they will work out hp wise? and what psi? could u list ur setups so i can get an idea of what i can accieve w/ the same setup? im hopin for like 450-500hp and b pretty streetable. lemme kno if u think thats a problem or not. thanx for any help guys its appreciated.

I agree 100% with XSTransAm....

What _I_ would say is best might be a piece of crap to someone else... tell us exactly what you want the car to do and we'll give you some suggestions...

There needs to be a FAQ on this ......

ok basically by best i mean which turbo lasts longer, spools fairly quickly and doesnt need 35psi to hit 500hp. one that pushes colder air. i also wanted to kno if its possible to hit 500hp on a 13b-re motor. and if those intercoolers on ebay that all look the same but have diff names r any good. i dont kno which turbo is best, but to give u an example of what i was talkin about being a best by stats, like kenne bell made a charger for the 03 cobra which gives it 620hp stock w/ jus a diff fuel pump, and runnin same psi as stock charger its 90hp more, now i would say due to the stats that makse it the best charger out there for that car due to the fact noone else makes htat much power w/ one on stock motor. www.kennebell.com i think was the site if u wnna c it.. dunno how much u guys dont like american cars or not. sorry to go off topic.
