Car bogged on the highway "Need Advice"

Well fellas,

I was on my way to an event this morning, when out of nowhere the car started to die to the point where I had to pull over. My full pump has been very noisy"loud!" and sounds like it's breaking up. I hit the fuel pump a few times, but the noise remained the same.

I started the car back up and it drove fine for a few miles and again no throttle response. I pulled over, turned off the car and waited 2 minutes. I started the car again and was on my way with no problems. A few miles a head and again the same ****.

I decided to turn around and go back home. I would drive a few miles and when it started bogging, I would pull over, turn it off wait for 2 minutes and the car would start back up and drive fine for a few miles.

What could it be?

I'm ordering this pump tomorrow http://www.msdignition.com/fuel_7.htm , but would like to now if there is anything else coud be wrong.

I'm using the stock FPR from the 13B-RE Intake. I wonder if this could have something to do with it?

Does is matter if the fuel pump is located above the fuel sump? I'm thinking maybe the fuel pump is having a hard time sucking up the fuel.

Any help would be aprreciated

Luis

Dont Know if this would be the same thing but I had a similar problem on my 3rd gen.... Car woyuld be running fine, then just start bogging and cut off. Turn the ignition off turn it back on and it would run fine for a few miles.. What was happening is my water temp sensor that the ecu reads off of, not the one for the gauge( I dont know if your engine has multiple sensors or not) was bad and the car would go into cold start mode while driving and would flood itself out. Best way to figure it out is warm the car up and then unplug the sensor and drive and see if you have any more problems.

Hope this helps
Jonathan
