Dudeman,, can your IAT unit able to interface with a Microtech LTX8, and control air temp correction??
my micro. came with out air correction table, but supposedly it can be setup thru other channels.

or is this out of your line of work. Micro. says send it back to OZ, but thats a lot of work., finally got a near perfect tune. except when temps change a lot, am usin coolant temps to regulate fuelin, intercooler seems to screw things up,like cold and then heat soak on a hot Tx. day,, related to IATs

I dont have any experience with the microtech. The Fast IAT sensor basically just changes resistance depending on how hot/cold it is, it doesn't have any specially interface box or anything. I believe the ecu sends 5v through it and depending on the resistance the value changes when it gets back to the ecu. The resistance range is the same as the stock sensor so you might be able to search for people running the LTX8 with the stock sensor to see what they had to do. Air temps do play a major role in what the tune is going to be. Mine were off several tenths of a point this winter until I changed my Air correction tables.
