need some help with turbo selection

I have a 13bre and I dont want to mess with making the twins work so I would like if someone could help me figure out what i need and on a budget.I can get or make a manifold but what kind of turbo should I get do i need a wastgate and a blow off valve can I use a manual boost controler ???? I do 4x4 truck raceing most races are short 2-5 mins lots of turns and jumps .I need no lag any suggestions? I have a haltech e6a to run this engine its stock port just stripped of twins and smog and It will only have enough exaust to keep some of my hearing lol!!!

It helps to know what kind of HP goals you are shooting for and at what psi. Im sure you can use a manual boost controller if you want. you can even use no boost controller if you have a wastegate spring thats good for the boost you want to run.

If you are not running the stock twins you need a wastegate if you are running an external wastegate setup and you should get a BOV as well.

250hp? Wow... such a low goal. Just find a turbo with a small hotside, that will keep your spool very quick, and your hp goals where you want them.

You can even go with a GT28 or something like that... I'd say stick with the twins and go Non-Seq...

i have a greddy TD06H-20G that will meet your expectations. really quick spool and will give you the desired Hp. just had it rebuilt and had the compressor housing polished. pm me if interested.
