Ok, I finished my build and it started right up, had a surging idle around 2400 so i shut it down, Set the TPS then started it back up and it ran great with the tuned map from the previous owner (EXACT SAME SETUP)

Then I loaded a different map onto my PowerFC. Now the car wont start.

so i reloaded the orginial map and it still wont start

It turns over fine, I pulled all plugs and the rear were coated with oil/fuel, cleaned all four and reinstalled, re-set TPS and still no starting???

Additionally when i turn my key to prime the fuel pump, it indicates about 35psi, but then steadly drops to 0 in about 30 seconds. This seems much faster then normal... however the plugs are coated in gas and the car floods so Im hesistant to say its the pump or FPR...

Do you guys have any suggestions to get me going??

i should add that after i put the orginial map back on i got it to run but only with my foot on the gas, and it was really rough, like it was misfiring which i think was the fouled plugs.

 

post both maps in an attachment. you will have to change the extension from .dat to .zip or something. log your startup attempts with the datalogit and make sure "advance" is checked under the monitor window. then post the log
