need help with starter

I just went through a single turbo conversion and getting my trany repaired. Get every thing back together and the starter just clicks as it hits the flywheel. Has any body had this problem, the starter was working fine before I removed it.
Thanks Gary

Bang it with a hammer a few times - the starter wasn't meant to sit around very long with no use.&nbsp It could've froze up sitting idle...

Thanks for replying, although a good idea the hammer didnt work. It looks like the starter was bad, I got a new one and it works great, the bastard wasnt cheap. So after starting the car the my new To4 filled the garage with smoke, I guess it was burning off the oil or something. Cant wait to drive it.
