Hey guys, I am in the middle of my single turbo install. Having a blast, but I think I may have gone as far as I can w/o a lot of help. The part that has me worried is basically everything going on under the UIM. I have so many disconnected electrical connectors and open ended tubes going everywhere that I am a little overwhelmed. I have the rats nest out, and today I just reinstalled the hard fuel lines, hard coolant line, and the coils. If any body has some close up pics of the UIM area that would probably help me out a lot. Possibly with the UIM off but everything possible, connected correctly. Also if anybody knows of any diagrams or websites that would have good information for me that would be great too. Thanks guys.

Here's some reference pics I took during my install for what they're worth to you.

Seems like there are only a couple of electrical connectors on the UIM+TB. I have a ton left over. You guys just cut these wires or what?

If you have a PFC or other aftermarket computer you can clip them. You will need to tape them or use some kind of clip to make sure the ends don't come in contact with metal.

Oh man I just saw this now. A bit too late I guess. That would have been cool. Now that I saw your sig I want to check your car out more than ever. I have the apexi IC too and would like to see how it mounts and how you set up your radiator and everything. I think I need to cut the back part of my front bumper off to make it fit. Doesn't seem to be a whole lot of room in there. Any days off during the week?

Pics would be great. Can you get some of the radiator/ IC setup...like where you have the mounts. The vac lines too. I think I have the rest together correctly now.

i have thursday off,if the weather is nice i wouldnt mind putting some miles on my car. for pics click on the www(my homepage) under my sig, there are engine bay pics there. im still trying to get my friends camera so i can take detailed pics for you.

talk to you later

you dont have to cut the bumper at all, the intercooler fits in kind of weird, i acually had to cut a small piece of a stock hanger off the car. looking at the nose of the car to the left under the "rail" if you will theres like a nub that i cut. as for the radiator its on a slant somwhat sitting in the stock holders. i have used various hangers to hold up the rad.
