Question NEED HELP WITH FMIC INSTALL with FLUIDYNE

Guys, sorry to ask this again but I am having big problems fitting my Fluidyne rad in behind the APEX FMIC I just installed. The mounting kit brackets are no good. I am having problems with the height of the rad running into the IC pipes, the a/c condensor is also not low enough and the plastic fan holder is hitting the frame cross member. I am going nuts, and am almost to the point of getting rid of the a/c ****. Can someone who has installed the APEX fmic with any after market rad help Me out, I need to get this together very soon.

Thanks
steve

I just put in a Apex fmic my self, and this was my first time working on my fd. Honestly, this kit sucked ***, none of the brackets fit worth a **** and the instructions were even worse. So I used the 2 of the stock condensor brackets upside down to hold it, then I didn't even use the lower radiator brackets so my stock radiator is just kind of sitting there with only 2 bent up brackets that came with the kit at the top of the radiator. Also because my battery has been relocated I used one of the supply brackets to go from the radiator to hold the AST. I honestly should have payed someone to do it.

I think even making new brakets I still wont have enough room. The Fluidyne is to thick, and how low can you really drop the a/c condensor, it is already 3 inches lower. I think if I knew this I would have went for a Greddy FM or a large stock mount. I only went with the APEX because I have the APEX RX6 single turbo kit. I cant figure out what or where those lower brakets are going to attach. The instuctions do suck ***. I think I am going to pull the A/C condensor out and the tubing for now. The ugly condensor will look like crap from the front anyways, just a little hot black leather in the summer.

If i remember correctly i had the a/c condensor located behind the radiatior instead of in front. I install this in a friends car and he's got the 2 row greddy fmic(same thing as the Apexi). Yeah, the fluidyne radiatior has the worst fitment. the best fitment is the "Koyos" i've install 3 of those already and have no problem with it. hope this helps.

sub-zero, If I remember correctly the Apexi GT intercooler has the A/C condensor laying flat below the radiator. You might want to pm twinturboteddy, he had one of those before.

It does lay flat. the kit includes brackets to drop the A/C cond. but it is not low enough. I cant remember the size of the stock rad, but it has to be shorter in height then the Fluidyne. The Fluidyne hits the A/C cond. and still is to high up for the IC pipes to run over it and you cant move it back any further because the subframe member hits the fan cage. Can someone measure there stock rad from top to bottom? Plus the Fluidyne has the drain on the bottom that is another few centimeters.
