need help finishing my single install (vacuum hoses)

okay...i am just about done with my 35/40 install, but i have a few minor things to finish.

in the first picture i attached, where do i now hook up the red line and where do i hook up the blue line? i kind of got ride of metal hose system that the blue line ran into. i kind of cut it off, but the blue line ran to the intake pipe of the primary turbo.

in the second picture, i don't know where to hook up the line that is the green hose with a blue line drawn on it.

now for the turbo...(i know what the answer is going to be...but i am wishing somebody will tell me otherwise )my oil drain hose from the turbo to the block is kind of kinking, but it isn't fully kinked shut. should i try to fix this...or is okay? we have been working on it for an hour now and can't get it unkinked.

thanks guys!

mikey

the blue line is for the omp. unless you running premix and took the omp you need to hook that back up. as for the kinked oil drain line why not just use the other drain line for the secondary turbo? i would imagine that you wouldnt want anything causing a restriction anywhere. as for the red line you have me baffelled. i guess i have to walk out to my car and see what i did with that line. lol

okay..now i feel dumb...the green line (second picture) is the same as the blue line in the first picture. so ignor my second question sorry for my being stupid. as far as this blue line...are you saying that the blue lines need boost...if so how i should i hook it up now? can somebody explain how exactly the omp vacuum lines work..do the housings only recieve oil under boost? i figured out what to do i with the red wire thanks for your help!

no boost to the blue lines. That goes on your turbo inlet. Supposedly vents gasses and some people just cap it at the oil injector. Personally, I'm going to tap it back in to the intake side.

the only reason i say it sees boost is when the wastegate control and turbo precontrol release...the blue lines will see boost, just not that much. i think i will do like you and tap it back in to the intake side.

thanks,
mikey

I had the same question regarding the red line. I can't find out what it does in my manual and apparently no one on this board knows as I asked the same quesiton. I wound up capping it. It seems to just connect to the LIM so it will throw your idle off a bit if you're using a PFC (but it will re-learn it).

Mikey you need to replace that Fuel Pulsation Damper! The nipple is missing from the top & the diaphram will start leaking soon!

I drilled a small hole in the inlet of my turbo & pressed a 90° hose nipple into it so the turbo provides vacc to the MOP injectors vs: boost.

About your kinked oil return line. Did you remove the stock return line extension from the block? Look closely at the front return port. There's a 4" extension that must be removed (hardest part of the intire install) before bolting on the flange that came with your kit.

yeah i removed it...but my line still kinks. it is hard to explain why it is kinking. but i am just going to try to take it from the back port. i think that will work.
