need help!!

need help!!

i have a 93 rx7. i recently put a single turbo and put block off plates with 850 primary inj and 1300 cc sec. i dnt know why car is stuck in acceleration if throttle isn't engaged?? Any help please, and thanks for the help...

I also have a hks twin power. I also tooked the tps off maybe I put it in wrong idk. Umm the car just seem to stay at 5-7 rpm in neutral without the throttle engaged, I checked the throttle cable and it's not stuck.

Is there anything in specific that controls the rpm of the enine??

It's really hard to tell by your description. When you are trying to describe things to people online expecting help, don't try to "get away " with doing the minimum work. Make sure to give a full and vivid description using words.

It kind of sounds like you are saying the engine idles really fast even though the throttle is closed.

Engine speed is regulated by controlling the flow of air into the engine. When the throttle is closed it limits the airflow to a very low level and then the Idle Control Valve regulates the small amount of air that bypasses the throttle and controls the idle speed.

The FD uses a speed density fuel control method. With this system there is no direct measurement of the airflow into the engine. So if there is any way for air to bypass the throttle like a stuck idle control valve or any air leaks in the intake manifold then the engine speed will run away as you may have described.

I probably have a huge manifold leak it's probably because when I removed the lim the gasket broke off. But since I wanted to get the car started to make sure everything was wrking good I went ahead and reused the broken gasket. I ordered a new one it should get here by tomorrow hopefully that solves the issue.

if your engine is running at 5000 rpm it is a good bet your throttle plate is partially open. i suggest you carefully examine the throttle linkage.

Well I checked the throttle body and it seem to be closed the only thing I'm waiting for is the new gasket hopefully it fixes the issue

That's a huge leak if you are idling at 5000rpm, not sure if any gasket related leak can cause that, do you have AWS?

So I got the gasket on and I started up the car it's better than before it's idling at 1500 so I'm goig to check the tps. Also for some reason I can hear a ticking noise from the turbo and it's new. It seems to come from the hot side. Can someone help me??

Does any one know what fuse controls the map sensor?? I think I might of blown it! Any help please. I fixed the leaks the car had but now I can't get it to stay at a stable idle it jumps from 400 to 800 rpm like if the map sensor was disconnected. Any help please

I have a question, I fixed the idle issue I had it was a manifold leak so I put new gasket and new injector gaskets, it fixed my idle. But now the problem is that I cannot rev the car it just bounces when I give it gas it wants to die. If I leave the car it idles at a steady 900 but when I try to gas it, it goes up to 2k and then falls quick like if it wants to stall. Any help please
