FL Need advice on WG and Blow off set up for PP

Guys, I am currently building a PP motor that I plan on runnning a s475 1.32 t6 on. I am also going to be using the Fastec mechanical pump with a lt10. I am wondering what would be my best choice in Wastegates and blow off and how many each? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Most people running single go with Tial wastegate, they have a good history and many different sizes and spring rates. How much boost do you plan on running, and did you consider running dual WG. As for bov's take you pick most people base it off the sound, however if you plan on routing it back throught the turbo and not venting, not every bov offers that option. Tial again has great success but so does HKS. The Synapse bov are very nice and use a piston instead of a diaphragm design

I will not be running an intercooler. I am trying to set up the turbo with a straight shot to the intake. So dual wastegates and blow off's? 44 blow off's and what size gate?

Run a single 60mm tial or HKS gate and dual 50mm "Q" type tial BOV.

if you are not planning on running any low amounts of boost, then a big wastegate(s) is not necessary..

I have my lt10 set up for 4 bar if necessary. I am looking to put down some high hp, if I'm lucky. So, 1 60mm gate would suffice?

Placement of the wastegate is more important than the size. Most prople end up putting them at a 90deg. angle to the runner because of fitment issues , ideally they shoild be put in "line" with the flow of the runner so that the gas does not have to do any abrupt manuvers to get into the WG runner.

Thats what happens when you try and run a very high flowing engine/turbo setup and low boost.

Why not just run it for what it should be run at; high boost...?

This is not true at all.

The wastegate must always be sized to the application, not the level of boost you intend to run. The more air your turbo/engine combination can push, the more wastegate you need. A little wastegate on a high flowing setup will reach a point very easily where boost will skyrocket and your only boost control will be you right foot.

With an engine combination like a PP and a T6 turbo, I would say you will want dual wastegates approximately as large as the manifold runners (60MM). They should be positioned as a direct shot from the exhaust port on the outside radius of the first bend.

I would like my turbo manifold to be as far forward as possible by the radiator. I will be running a small radiator half the normal size . I believe I saw pics of a 7 on here that was running something similar withe gates in front of the motor but down at the bottom. I am going to try a draw a picture of how my turbo will set up and the tubes running to the intake will go. I am wondering if 2 90* bends will affect performance?

Does anyone have pics of dual set ups gates and blow offs? I'd love to get some ideas that are proven to work 100%

It's less than optimal wastegate placement (as stated before) but i have a VERY tight engine compartment.

It is somewhat true. Running too large of gates can have it's own problems but essentially you're both right depending on what your doing.

I would look at running two 44's it should be more than enough we've gotten over 800whp out of one 60mm and the gate wasn't the limiting factor. If you choose to run the single 60mm gate you will need a way to control boost as well since most come with springs that are not the stiffest. As example TiAL comes with a 15.2 spring max on the 60mm I'm sure you will want to run more boost than that.
