N20 and a single

Yes I have done the search thing so don't start.

I was wondering if any one is running an N20 kit on there single turbo FD. If so wet or dry and what brand? Single nossel or direct port? What shot? What are you using to trigger it?

The reason I ask is I have a dry nos kit from my old 3000gt and was thinking about putting it on the 7. I hooked it up for direct port injection when I had my old pfs box and planed on using alternate fuel maps for when the n20 hit. Since then I have put a PFC in. Since I can no longer change the fuel map on the fly for the n20 I think a wet shot would be more appropriate.

Hey, I met you at Dave's shop the other time. I was with Ray(purple 3rd gen). I had the red 3rd gen. Can you please email me. I was wondering if I could rent your trailer.

The previous owner of my FD used N2O wet feed (50-shot). He also went through a few engines.

I took out the N2O and stuck to single ONLY. I plan to play around with it again after I install a Haltech.

Some of the Rotary Performance drag guys use wet shot N2O. You can ask Ari or Steve about it.

You'll probably end up going through some motors from what I hear unless you are running a very reliable ignition system as well as a capable EMS (maps).

Just curious, why would you need n2o on top of a single? A properly tuned single should make 400 to the wheels. A Z06 has 405 flywheel. How much more do you need? When you are making around 400 hp I don't think an extra 50hp is worth the risk.

n20

Only reason I am considering it is because I already have the kit from another car and a full tank of n2o. I have to look into it but I think all I need to convert from dry to wet is another solenoid, new jet and some more cable.

If I am going to add it I need to decide quick I have a dyno tuning session at KDR on the 14th. I was hoping that with 15 lbs of boost and a 50 shoot I could hit 500 rwhp. Car already made 321 rwhp @ 8 psi.
