my single turbo dyno day

well I just got my sammy tuned in and we got 278.4rwhp and 232.1fpt at 15psi my mods are 13b re ebay turbo t-70 ss autochrome manifold and xspower intercooler 2 gen coils and microtech lts8 16 pulls on the dyno runs awsome we ran it in 4wd with the hubs unlocked and got 250 rwhp not to bad in a 2200lbs suzuki samurai

Dude, why didn't you make anymore power? 278whp @ 15 psi on a T79 turbo??????????? Something isn't right.

yeah, something is not right. How much timing were you running at 15psi and what was the AFR? what type of dyno was it?

I am running this way for longevety .I will be racing in 4wd and want to know what I will have .I am also trying to keep torque high lag low and I didnt rebuild I had this motor on my back porch for a year filled with mmo and atf my racing is alot of on off throttle I know I could have more hp but I dont want to rebuild right now.There is nothing wrong with my turbo it works great and I got 600 into all of it

i think the stock turbo would give about the same, if not better numbers. a $350 hybrid would give you 300 to the wheels at about 10 psi.

I am also going thru a lot more drivetrain I have toyota axles with a welded rear and 4:88s that is going to lower my #s abit

a 'real" t70 should put 420+ rwhp down at 15 psi, if that gives you any idea. your drivetrain isn't gonna suck up 50% of that.
