G'day Steve!

Looks very nice! I am guessing you will make "LOTS" of power hehehe

Interestingly enough my 1st gen RX-7 is doing times very close to yours now, with a best of 10.2 @ 133mph (with more to come!)

Good to see your car getting quicker and quicker, I remember e-mailing you about it back in early 2000 when you were shooting for 600rwhp Should be a walk in the park now!

Cheers,
Angus

The pics dont do it justice, I've seen it in person and the turbin wheel is so big I bet I could stick my fist in the whole.

It looks like something that should be on a airplane lol

That new turbo of yours(remember I'm going by pics here) looks like it's about the same size and design as a HKS T51RSPL(Garrett makes the turbos for HKS), w/o the split entry on the intake housing, and without the HKS sticker.....hmmmm.

Nah....T51RSPL is basically a T76 Turbo (76.5mm inducer and 102.2 major). The T51RKAI is basically a T70 turbo (70.3mm inducer and 94mm major). Mine is bigger and secret spec.

The compressor sides are about the same size, but the turbine wheel aren't the same. I bet with a T-76 the turbine side will be the limiting factor before you run out of compressor

speaking of turbines, do you ever get a change to fit up that new turbine housing?

I actually just got rid of that turbo setup. I ran the 1.32 housing at the last IDRC event in PA, it worked pretty well though. Anyway, thanks again for shipping it so fast

Just got my turbo today. I think calling this thing big is an understatment. This thing is a monster!!!! The turbine wheel is literally twice the size as my P-trim and the compressor wheel is so big that i can fit my cell phone in it. I can't wait to get this monster in my car and do some dyno runs.

I'll post some pics later....

(maybe)

I can't give out the spec right now. #1, I'm still testing my new setup. #2, I spend alot of time, money research and development to just give my setup away. and #3, If I give out all my secrets, everybody will be just as fast if not faster than me. Even Ari doesn't know what my plans are for next year. I did give him my turbo spec just so that he can start working on his car in parallel with me but I doubt that he'll B-port his motor until he sees some good numbers from my car.

It took me two years to get my SP motor making 620rwhp on a T70 P-trim (.96 housing). Eventhough, I never fully utilized all the potential hp in each run. My car is capable of running high 9's as is before the B-port and the new turbo. This is with a 3000lbs full interior car w/ me in it. I estimated that if I were to take out 300lbs out of my car (changing my roll cage and doing some stripping). I could have ran 146-147mph trap speed from my 137-138mph previously (~3mph per 100lbs). My goal for next year is to run over 150mph trap. I haven't decided what new mangement system to run but I'm thinking more towards the Haltech E11 over the AEM now. With everything new on the car, I have alot of work ahead of me to make big #'s. I think this turbo maybe too big but I think this turbo is capable of making 750rwhp if my motor holds.

Stayed tune on my progress as I start lighten the car to be more competitive.

Steve K

Alright, I'm not gonna post any specs but here're the pics (compressor and turbine wheel) Notice the size of the turbine wheel compared to P-trim.
