my FINAL oil return question (promise)
Ok, this oil return line has been the bane of my FD existence for some time. The previos owner put some weird line fitting on the block with a weird flange looking thing and I've been trying to figure out how the oil return SHOULD run so that I can try to remedy the problem. So my question is this:
Does the oil return line run directly into the block with a -10 an fitting?
I'm sure it's pretty simple but the previous owner's routing has my mind fried...

Here are some photos of what's going on....
As you can see the oil return line is coming from the left with the engine block to the right. Note the little flange-tube-flange.

the 'flange/tube/flange' as you call it is the mazda piece used with the oem stock twin turbos.
as long as you use the proper metal mazda gaskets on each flange, i don't see the problem.
Otherwise, you can order a barb fitting attached to a flange designed to bolt to the front cover from A spec, then order a foot of this to use as your line:

then, get the 1 inch diameter DEI Fire Sleeve from summit racing to use as heat sleeving and you'll be set
