that is pretty good! the shipping weight of the old reman engines was 275lbs
All the engine boxes we ordered had the weights written on them. It was always ~100-110 kilos. So ~240lbs. That's of course with the flywheel, shipping oil and the box itself. Rob Dahm scaled one and the keg came in just over 200lbs. I don't remember if the flywheel was on it when he did.
For his engine to only put on 53lbs with all the stuff on it would be a miracle lol
Here can see the Full Function Engineering oil filter stand with pressure and temp sensors. Bosch knock sensor in rear rotor housing.
that funky speed holed piece takes the place of top mount starter cover plate and holds the fuel pressure regulator so the swivel fitting into the fuel rail isnt stressed. Oy also holds the flex fuel sensor and fuel inlet and outlet fittings.
The fuel rails are set-up in parellel using all earls vaporguard fittings and hose. This hose is rated for e85 with 100% lifespan.
Many other hoses are rated 50-80% life when used eith e85. That means that hose is slowly ending up in your fuel filter and injectors...
I had to make the coil brackets beaise the stock ones dont fit under the Turblown UIM.
I had to make the CF oil fill extension to fit the Turblown UIM as well. I ordered the OD CF tube and then got lucky and had a tube that fit ID as well, so its sturdy.
The fuel gauge is fairly easily viewable from yje front 9f tje UIM. Its under the hump of the runners, which is aesthetically pleasing to me.
You can see the fuel pressure sensor at tje back of primary rail. I have an aluminum clamp on "kickstand peg" coming that will prop it up against the rotor housing below so it doesnt loosen the fuel fitting it is on with vibration.
The turbo compressor is about 1/2" from "frame" rail with the slightly modded cast HKS iwg "sport turbo" manifold.
I still need to make a downpipe. Looks like 6" diameter off the turbo will fit and neck it down to my 4" exhaust.
Realized my engine hoist hooks didnt work right and took them off (used air pump mount and starter bolt, no load leveler because clearance for hood still on car).
