is this with racefuel or e85? 1.10 or 1.32 A/R? i guess that the amount of fuel burned using e85 is causing my 3" to choke?

Vp16 and 1.10A/R. I will post them asap.

I hope you don't mind me asking what filler rod you are using for welding the stainless(diam and material), what gas (Argon, Argon/Carbondioxide etc) and at what amps you are welding.

I tig on my own and I happen to really like the defined bead your welds have.

Thanks in advance.

Chris

What i normally use is .035 308 wire for stainless and 309 for stainless to steel..

Gas: Argon, i normally set the regulator at 13~15.

I also use a gas lens and usually around 35~85 amps...( depending on thickness)

Chaotic_FC 02-12-09 01:22 PM

we'll see, havning some problem getting e85 since it's e75 everywhere now, don't have much fuel left in the tank!

im having the same problem here Gus. Think ours might even be E70. So looks like ill only get to dyno on low boost until summer when e85 comes back unless i get my hands on something else. I only have 5 gallons of e85 left, should have saved more.

Very very sexy. I'm really liking that exhaust, can't wait to see some vids. Great job :icon_tup::icon_tup:!

car looks like a rex from hell, lol. wicked manifold, turbo and wastegate setup. not sure of the dump tubes, but hey it works. post some vids soon. good work.

gusfd3s 03-04-09 03:37 PM

since i had a trillion 90dgr bends on my intercooler piping i felt like improving the setup.

inlet on intercooler was 2.5".

gusfd3s 03-20-09 03:03 PM

this is how the ic setup turned out..
minimum amount of bends and pipe length!

dregg100 03-20-09 09:05 PM

how is the clearance under the car with the intercooler pipes being that low?

gusfd3s 03-21-09 06:28 AM

pretty much same as before since the rad is mounted about 3inch higher.

rofuz 03-21-09 08:40 AM

very nice gus!
