this is not related to my car but i made a 12a header yesterday that will be on a 12a PP motor (rx7 fb), runners are 100% equal length... its mild steel and mig welded so nothing fancy but i thought i would share

What boost was that on the engine dyno? Still just a large streetport? What apex seals?

15deg 10 split

finally everything is coming together.. downpipe, wastegates and some wiring left.




anyone knows where i can find a filter for this sucker? it is 5.5" and has to be very short...

you just need a sticker for the car to not stand in front of the turbo, small children might get sucked in..

I had a shorty implode on one of my 42r setups. Not really sure if it was a defective K&N unit or what but I think when you're dealing with a larger frame turbo you need more area when hitting 20+ psi.

Peterbilt's have a formed 90 that would allow you to turn and get a filter to fit.

im running same size turbo with the borgwarner race cover and had to get my filter custom made

i got mine made by these guys http://www.uniflow.com.au/ im pritty sure the have shops all over the world but yeh i just gave them all the measurements they made it to suit they did real nice job i can take it off and take pics of the inside if u like

the inside reinforcement is probably the most important, as it prevents the filter from collapsing into this black hole of a turbocharger.. you definitely don't want to run a inferior filter assembly.

oh... its in the drag racing section :-)

The car ran 9.95@146mph this weekend, im very happy after all hard work.
