mbc vs. ebc?
mbc vs. ebc?
I've bought almost everything I need now for my conversion except for a boost controller. I have been looking at the turbo xs mbc and the apexi avcr ebc. The apexi is of course more advanced but how much tougher is it to tune with than the manual one? The XS has two settings, hi and low.
I like the idea of having a more advanced boost controller but is it really worth more money?
If I disconnect my battery will I loose my settings on my ebc?
If I could get some peoples opinions ont he pro's and con's of each one it would be greatly appreciated.

search been discussed tons...
personally...I like a clean interior and clean bay. I chose MBC, for simplicity...then controlled the source via haltech, so I can achieve fast spool like an EBC. so, I guess you can say I have an E/MBC.
however, with cold weather and a cool intercooler...I hit fuel cut the other night at 18psi in 4th gear. After I got on boost some and "heated" things up, it held rock solid and holds rock solid in warm/hot months...I hear EBC will compensate
