Master Power MP37 (akaGT37)
I have been looking into turbo's for some time now trying to choose which one to get.. I am running an FD3 with curretnly stock engine.. Looking to make about 400-450bhp with supporting ecu and fueling of course.
I have been looking at the Holset H1E and also Master Power units. Oringally I was thinking the T-61 with P tir and 0.96 exhaust housing. It has been suggested to me that an MP37 whcih is supposed ot be close to the Garret 60-1 could make this sort of power with quicker spool time. but it would be maxxing out around 20psi boost. Has anyone got experience with this unit in there FD. if so how do they find the driveablity and do they feel it's big enough? what power did you make?
Thank you
Lee

I presume you mean a garrett? I am on a budget and hence looking at the MP range and alternatives like the Holset etc.. Also I lke the idea of being a little less conventional in my choices! as long as they work of course!
Just saw your signature bit.. have you fitted your 6 puck clutch yet? What brand are you going for? do you use it for street or track only? Is it a bit hard going? I need to get a clutch and trying to decide if to go for a heavy duty single plate, a twin or a 6 puck. But I need it to be driveable on the street as that is mainly where my car is used!
Cheers

Well i understand the less conventional, there is only a few things on my car i didnt hand make.
No i haven't installed the clutch, but if you want a street able clutch make sure it has a Sprung center (Has springs) this will make it less stiff on takeoff.
My car is the Street/Track/Weekend warrior
