Even with ceramic coating and additional bracing?
The car is nice and I don't think I am cheap just when I see such discrepancies in prices it makes me think. I wouldnt do the same for ignition or fuel delivery components....
As for the picture I am happy he didnt write a thousand words to tell us about tinfoil.

Not sure I totally understand your post but if you mean why one is so much less than the other it's pretty simple. Some are mass produced at $.30 hr with lower quality stainless at almost production line type manufacturing. Others are using higher quality stainless and are made one at a time in lower quantities, with labor costing way more and warranty costs figured in as well. You can buy a ebay manifold for less than it costs me just in buying mandrel bent sched10 tubing.

After pricing everything out going with a "kit" is often no more expensive than putting quality components together yourself.
As said different people value differently, but if your going to go through the time and expense of a single turbo I would reccomend you not skimp on one of the most important pieces. I would also think about the ease of warranty if the worst does happen...

Trying to get a warranty claim processed when the company is in California and you are in Eastern Canada must really not be easy.
I am still debating waiting with the Canadian dollar in shambles right now I don't have too much of a choice.
Zero R .What effects if any do non-tubular tubing ala HKS SS manifold have on exhaust flow, response and power? Also what is the difference between the response of a long runner versus shorty manifold?
