Manifold Advice

Hey guys,

Been researching manifolds non stop for the past 2-3 hours and I'm running across the same thing over and over. So and so makes great stuff, but doesn't contact you back or doesn't deliver 'yada yada'. I realize the rotary world is slowly dwindling but I'm not out of it yet. Can anyone recommend me to a shop that builds good manifolds for an FC that I don't have listed below?

Neukin
Turblown
A-Spec
HKS (cast)

I'd like to go with Neukin or A-spec, but their reputation on delivery is scaring me. Any advice would be great!

Thanks,

~Anthony

No bites huh. Well to answer my own thread and to spread the word. Despite what I've heard about A-Spec he's answered every phone call as well as followed up on emails etc. If it remains that way he'll undoubtedly get my business.

i went with neukin manifold a couple of years ago, it took about a month for me to get my manifold, because they make them per order. They answered my e-mails and weren't horrible, and the manifold was a NICE piece. Hope that helps

NEUKIN makes some nice manifolds for sure, he seems to make them for cars that are kind of different.

like the FC and NOT the FD. and the m42 BMW 1.8l

We haven't had a chance to update our website, but I have attached a few pictures of our current FD, and FC turbo manifold design.

Our manifolds have proper waste-gate placement. The entrances to the waste-gate runners are in the direct flow, and tear-dropped where possible. The waste-gate runners are very short to disrupt the flow as little as possible too. The manifolds are flanged for twin TurboSmart comp40 gates, or twin Tial MVS wastegates. We've literally built every possible style manifold you can think of, and this style will never boost creep.

Our manifolds are built with schedule 40 1.5 Pipe( .145" wall) 304SS. We have found this is the most optimal size I.D. tubing/pipe for a T4 2 rotor. We use the least amount of bends possible, and do not cheat any radii. Both flanges are also extremely well hand ported, and the I.D. of the flange matches the I.D. of the OEM exhaust sleeve. Our experience has shown us this manifold design has the highest velocity possible, and therefore the quickest " spool ". The manifolds are also back-purged, and built stress free. Both flanges are also sanded 100% flat, ensuring a proper seal forever. We've been building manifolds for over 7 years now, and not a single unit has cracked. Our manifolds carry a life-time warranty!

Our FD manifold works for both LHD, RHD, stock LIM and Xcessive LIM. They will also work with every motor mount available. Further more they are also designed to work with Vmounts, and 3, 3.5, or 4" downpipes. The turbine housing, and downpipe have plenty of clearance between the intake manifold too. Dual EGT bungs are an option. Each manifold is also test fit on a chassis in house before shipping.

We have a 100% money back guarantee( less return freight) and free shipping( in the lower 48 states)! Over the next two weeks we will start by keeping 5+ of each manifold in stock! There will be zero built/wait time! We almost always answer our phones or emails within 30 minutes, and we support this forum.

We've also got a bunch of other goodies to go along with our manifolds, like our new billet compressor wheels mated to Garrett turbos.

Look into gato performance. He'll build you a manifpld and put the turbo in the passenger seat if you want!! Many of the fastest rotaries in puerto rico use his manifolds. I got one and couldnt be happier with the quality. If you want his number me shoot me a pm.
