M&W Ignition Wire and Boots

Hi Guys, I wasnt sure if this was the right place to put this, (Mods feel free to move this to the right section) so I added this thread here because of the the frequent traffic and knowledge base..

Anyway, I've just purchase a M&W unit for my rx7 with 2 dual post M&W coils. My question is, can anyone who has experience with these coils recommend coil plugs part number (either from summit or jegs) for these units?

With reading on the forum, It seems the consensus is, MSD 8.5 wires will do just fine,

So other than the wires, I need the information on the plug types for the coil and spark plug bits.

Thanks again !

-Keith

I'm assuming that if you are only running 2 dual post coils that you are firing leading & trailing together on each rotor (no spark split)?

Thanks Chip, Ill look at those wires again and compare, My main concern is the ends for wires to the coils and plugs. Just want to get the right ones on the first purchase.

As stated get the magnacores. They will custom make you a set and they're not anymore then anything on summit or jegs.

I use run the M&W pro 12 (so only a 2 channel) I run Ls2's for my trailing coils.
Coils I use are crane lx92 coils from memory, it was as per their recommendations and magnacore leads all round.

PS: to date had no RFI issues at all
