LOOKING FOR an HKS T51 R KAI (Crissspeed??)
Anyone know where I can get an HKS T51 R KAI single turbo kit for a *decent * price. It's for a friend .. I already have one
I've already checked a lot of online stores..but I'm hoping to find a better price from one of you guys...hopefully.
Please PM if you have any info.
Thanks.

Get ahold of "Performance Techniques". They will build you any Garrett based turbo you want for a great price. More importantly, they are FAST unlike "Turbonutsacks".
My roomate just bought a 60-1, big shaft, v-band, 1.15 divided for $650.00.
On a T-series I'm sure the price is around $1,200-$1,400 depending on the options you get. Not for sure on that either.
Let me know if you can't find a link to them, I'll get you the number.

you arent going to find one for anyless than 4500 new here.......
And if you go with the Garret turbo its still not going to sound like the T51RKAI,HKS has the patent on that turbo meaning even though Garret makes that turbo they cant sell it to anyone but HKS.....

Uhh, you can get the EXACT same turbo from Garrett, and it will cost you half as much! Sound? It will sound like any other 77mm compressor

Actually..
This is a quote from John D awhile back:
A guy I know in AUS, knows the exact specs on this and the T04R, and recommends them highly. The T04R on a huge street port with a boost >= 26psi, makes a good compromise between a T-70 and a t-66. He recommends the T51 for any kind of extreme porting where power is made beyond 8500rpms.
Sorry for the confusion, this new crack rock seems to be doing wonders for my brain.
T51R Kai=> 70mm compressor wheel with a 71mm/82mm turbine wheel(bigger then Q-trim) with 1.0 A/R
T51R SPL=> 76.5mm comp. wheel with same turbine side.
