I am getting older and i am tired of the huge turbo bridgeported noise type of setup so i am stepping down 2 a streetport block and i am looking into replacing my old 80mm turbonetics for something more friendly.I want a earlier spool/nice powerband but i still want it 2 feel nasty like it did with the old turbo.I dont want more than 500hp and i dont want 2 spent 1k on a turbo so i have been looking into a BW airwerks turbos.

I have had a great experience with the old school S366. With a Turblown quick spool manifold and E85 spool is not bad at all and the mid range torque is ridiculous. I have completely maxed out this turbo on E85. Dyno sheet attached. That being said there are newer better next gen Borg Warner options that are still cheap and high tech. If 500whp is all you want the billet 64.5mm SXE would be great and spool should be excellent. The SXE 366 would be better as well but overkill if 500WHP is all you want. Full Race is a great place to buy but you can find them really cheap on ebay.
