Yup, that's a brand new rear iron all right . Looks like an fc oil pressure sending unit? also, don't forget to switch over the oil pressure regulator!

Well, Rich, there is a reason I post it on "single turbo" section and not on the second gen. You are right, this is FC rear iron. The reason I post it here is, coz of the thickness of the upper dowel joint. I don't know if all the new one looks like this, as I have lots of spare FC irons, but this one is much thicker than any housing I have.

The iron on the left is the one out of my 450HP FC, and it has a crack. What I'm so happy about now is, that I've got a very hard to find housing with a very thick dowel pin area which will (hopefully) not crack as this one is as thick as the one on FDs!

Yeh it's been like that from Mazda for some time now. All the new end plates including the 6-port ones both front and rear come with the thicker casting around the dowel area.
