Put a dent in the downpipe or make an exhaust manifold spacer out of some steel. Are the coolant and oil lines to and from the turbo flexible?

lol no way, no point of denting the dp if it can be resolved another way... my friend was telling me about a spacer but the jdm LIM seems liek a better option.. no coolant lines (journal bearing) and oil is somewhat flexable? why do you ask? feed and return lines arent made yet if thats your concern...

Okay since your Mani is done and installed i would option for the LIM to be removed and have the EGR area shaved down this should give you the best options. I would not even worry about locating a JDM spec LIM.

Your fabricator should be able to shave down the area with a grinder ie: with dremel tool and weld a aluminum plate much like the EGR block off plate.

A mani spacer will move the turbo. The lines won't line up if they're hard lines.

this may work but will only create more issues with exhaust leak points and extending the lines for oil/water and you may also hit the fender wheel wallside.

Much easier shaving down the LIM IMO

This isn't that hard buy bends in the appropriate size and work the DP around the intake.

Wow, I didn't realise the LIM was so big and lumpy on the US LIM.

JDM one should see you fine I reckon.

JDM inlet mani here:

Not the best piccy to illustrate, but I've got a shedload of clearance with my 35r:

Will try to get another piccy tonight from a better angle

By looking at the pic it will make the discharge flange on the turbine housing an issue as it shifts the runners forward.

Just route that area of the downpipe from the turbine housing around that portion of the LIM. It's not that hard. If you're having problems bring it to a competent fabricator...

Why don't you purchase a 13b exhaust flange and use it as a spacer to get your turbo a little farther away from the intake? They are pretty cheap.

they can be put anywhere that is a good location, cost about $6. each and weld on for what ever going rate, dont get ripped by a welder, a good guy can do it in 30-45min..
if you knew where you want them i can get them welded for nothing.

you get mani. for 100. you buy injector bungs, and i get it welded.

and this fab.man can make anything you want anyway you want, like finishing the plenum and TB mount (id go with a ford mustng TB) cheap, or what ever you prefer.

you cant make the lim for what im askin.
