Let's talk manifolds

Since there are so many kits out there wondering.

What makes a good manifold?

What are the downsides of a "cast" manifold?

Ohh yeah this thread is already dead.

Your post is completely unrelated and has no place here, do some searching or sell your FB and buy a Turbo FC.

About manifolds, I was wondering what kind of thickness you use for the flanges and what schedule is recommended for the piping.

Start your own thread the information you desire is completely unrelated the the ins and outs of manifold selection/fabrication.

the only thing i don't like about cast manifolds is the ones available position the turbo too low. it makes positioning the oil return a pain in the ***. i don't care about looks, i would rather have a manifold that will never crack on me(or at least i hope not). i might make one in the future but i am happy with what i have.
