MN Lets plaaaay **NAME THE PART**

Im trying to install my oil drain fitting from a spec on to the block,, but this thing is in my way... I've seen another memeber had it removed....

What is it? could it be elimintaed?

its the oil metering pump. the other member was obviously pre-mixing.
how badly does the fitting clash with it, Im sure you get something that will miss it if you don't plan to pre-mix.

It's usually a tight fit if you use a hose as a return line...

OOO I see, so im not removing it then.... The fitting im using is the nipple one that attaches to the braded thick line that a spec provides.... I can try to mucsle it in tomorrow.. it just seemed like it keeps hitting the electrical plug on the bottom of that thing....

Well thanks for the info,,, but the service manual that I downloaded doesnt go through that much detail.. And it seems like alot of links are not working for me..
Thats why I ask.. Damn!!
