Lack of Kits? lol

Man there seems to be a Massive lack of Turbo Kits for FD's

I'm seriously thinking of buying the "copy" stuff
making a DP/oil lines and a pipe with the BOV flange welded on
and offer it on my Website.........and make some MONEY

Maybe even offer a FC kit while i'm at it

$75 manifold
40mm hks "copy" wastegtae $150
50mm Tial "copy" bov $75
XS power/SSautochrome Turbo $300

make a DP $50 (including clamp/flange,bung and piping)
oil lines $50 (if that)

Ebay add says "A KIT LIKE THIS RETAILS FOR AROUND $3300.00 SO DONT PASS IT UP !!!!!"

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA...OMG!

Are you serious?! Greddy offers several kits, along with HKS. Apexi also has a kit. Then there's several kits offered by A-spec, which has some top notch items. They could use some nicer looking flanges though. (hint hint) Then there's Gotham Racing, DaVinci Motorworks, Rotary Extreme, and XS Engineering! I'm sure there's quite a few more that I havn't thought of yet!

Then there is absolutely nothing wrong with your flanges, your flanges are the nicest ones to have ever left the shop.

haha, did anybody notice the supercharged v8 FD pic in that auction... not saying anything wrong with a v8 setup, but it seems it a little *** backwards if you're trying to sell a turbo rotary setup.

theres tons of aftermaret kits for the rx7. is just do you have the money to obtain one of those turbo kits that you desire. if not then thats why people just make there own. it is a hassle to work with! and those sometimes dont come out good.

www.rx7store.net & a-spec tuning has some good stuff for the FC & FD

I think your still mixing something up!

What I ment by my comment (hint hint) was you should let me make you a flange for free to convince you to purchase my flanges over your current ones. A CNC cut flange would look soooo much nicer!

I pieced my kit together. Custom manifold (no cheap SS Autochrome), custom downpipe, Tial wastegate, and turbo. All came out to be just a hair over $1500. Roger, I'm pretty sure you know where my kit came from, or who built it.

Do they look as nice as this?

3/4" 304 stainless, with a 1/16" 45 degree chamfer around the whole outside, with a 1/16" radius around the exhaust ports for the welds, all cut on a CNC mill. The Rx7 was cut out with a wire EDM 3/8" deep, with a 3/8" deep pocket cut out on the back side to take as much weight off it as possible. I'm probably the only one that's crazy enough to make a flange like this though, and nobody would pay the amount of $$$ it costs to have a flange like this made for them. The ones I make for everyone else are usually 1/2" 304 stainless, with just a pocket cut out in the center. I just wanted something really nice on my car!

If your interested in me sending you one of my normal flanges to show you the qaulity of mine, PM me or e-mail me. (hhtlsp@bellsouth.net) More than likely, I can make them cheaper/nicer than the current batch you just had made.

-Alex

Edit: Here's 2 flanges that I CNC machined for Rich at Auto Illusion. It's 1/2" stainless with an 1/8" chamfer around it. I sell the 20B flanges for the same price everyone else sells them for in 3/8" stainless. Mine are CNC machined, while the 3/8" flanges are water/laser/plasma cut. The T6 flange is 1/2" stainless also.
