Just opened my WG

Finished welding up the down-pipe last night and took it for a test run........and I absolutely love it!

Lol, i remember the first time i drove my car with the single turbo and open wastegate. I had a lot of fun on the way home too. Sounds pretty good.

sounds good, eh lol, it's cool the first month. then u get so tierd of hearing that loud *** noice.

and another issue for me was noice lvl at the track. open wastegate is not alloved for racing.

I'm not to worried....I drive it maybe twice a week on the weekends. The only bad thing is I think I made two of my friends def in the lefts ears.

Yea, the open WG takes some getting used to , but man it sounds pretty good.

I love punching it and from ~4000 rpm to redline hearing that wastegate scream.. Loving the power from the single too

im debating weather to go open wastegate or plumed back in lol. whats the pros and cons of a screamer pipe?

SLIGHTLY, if at all, better flowing depending on your exhaust.
easier to make.

It really makes a mess in your engine bay, black soot everywhere not to mention the possibility of fire...?

I have mine dumped, it aims down and over so the engine bay stays clean. the passenger side frame rail though, probably already needs a cleaning
