I have heard of a lot of people having problems with this wastegate, but only in very harsh conditions, like at the track or scca events. I have had many problems with this wastegate, most because of my own stupid mistakes, like trying to cut the spring for less boost. DO NOT DO THIS. buy a new spring if you want to run less then 15 pounds of boost, it totally screwed my system up, i have had that wastegate off more times then i can count. good luck.

I have NEVER had problems with this wastegate and I've taken it to the racetrack 3 times already with this turbo boosting 1 bar on the track the whole time.

By the way, the stock wastegate spring is set at only 10psi, so you shouldn't need to change the spring. Max was boosting at only 13psi i believe, and over the summer before i got my ignition, i was boosting only 10psi as well.

At what rpm does the rx6 spool up? How much horsepower can you expect to make at 18psi?
depends on who tunes it, what type of motor you have, and also what other mods you have

Guys, find your answers here https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...hreadid=118058

Any new RX6 kit you buy today will allow you to retain air pump, I got mine from Jason 3 months ago.

Apexi fixed their problem with wastegate, new wastegate uses different material so it won't stick under high temp.

Using Profec B, my boost is set to 11 and 14psi. No problem.

PFC will work with almost anything...
