Did you address this with A-Spec and did they offer to make it right?

Yes they did say they would fix it, but I think they wanted us to pay to ship it. We ended up just ordering one from summit racing, cuz it was going to set us back another week at least.

Well, it doesn't look like I will be able to take it to the track tonight. I just talked to Chris at Banzai and he said they are having trouble with fuel pressure. They troubleshot it and decided it is pry something with the fuel pump (of course since I installed it). Anyway, if I do get it back tonight, I will have to do a street tune with chris for 2 to 4 hrs which puts me at 9 to 11 tonight + 1:45hr drive back.

????? Ahhh no. I never mentioned anyone needing to pay for anything. I offered two solutions. One was for them to ship it back for me to fix. The other was for me to ship what was needed there. Both of which wouldn't meet the time frame I was told. So that was that. I offered to cover the time spent to do it as well. Just making sure that is all cleared up

No problem, just don't want people thinking I wouldn't take care of it.

It is all done except for some tuning. As soon as I get some numbers I will share them.

OK Went in to tune today and got there a little early, so I had a chance to check out a couple of other fd's and fc's there which is always fun. Took a ride in Stealth s5 i think is his name, he's got a 60-1 single TII. Anyway, back to my car. We went out to tune and did some low boost tuning at about 13 psi and everything was going really well. Then we went to some higher boost, around 17, and we got a few really good runs in. Then for some reason it started stumbling in a couple of spots, chris said it was ignition breakup. Sooo Widegtr, I would really like to get my hks twinpower. He said we just got those few good runs in on high boost cuz he just put new plugs in. The turbo seems like it spools really nice, and it is unbelievably smoothe. I am guessing that is chris' tuning. The idle is sounds so effortless, and just cruising around makes you feel like you are in a stock fd it's so smoothe. Power comes in strong at about 3500rpm and lasts up to 8000! After doing about thirty 55 to 110 mph pulls today, it was starting to feel a little slow, but I took it out a little bit ago and it's really fast again...haha Anyway, once I get my hks twinpower, I will get to see some more high boost.

Yeah, we talked briefly about it today. It is a good possibility in the near future. First I want to get it dialed in very nice on high boost. Then I will go dyno it once or twice just to get some numbers.
I just put some data into the fuel calc on rx7.com we had 66% duty cycle with 850s and 1600s which comes out to 488 fly wheel hp. which with a 17% drivetrain loss would be 405 horsepower.

After having my car back for a few days, all I can say is WOW! Ok I guess I can say a little more. I don't have the twin power yet, so I dont have high boost, but low boost is still hella fun. It seems quite a bit faster than when I had the twins at 14 psi. The sound of the turbo spooling up is simply amazing. I just drove around for about 4 hours yesterday for no reason People keep revvin at me non stop, but they are always going the other way. I can't wait to stomp some people, but with my car feeling as fast as it does, I can see how a lot of you single guys won't waste your gas racing riced out tiburons etc.
Also, I am loving the gas prices right now. They are down about a dollar from mid summer.

I don't have much to compare it to, but I don't have any problem with lag. The fun factor has really gone up though.
