Lightbulb intercooler tester idea?

i was thinking to myself what would be the best way to test my intercooler for leaks, and i came up with a design for a tester. i dont know if someone has already thought of it but i searched and couldint find anything on it.

first you would cap one end and on the other end you would have a coupler with some sort of air fitting on it like a bike tire has and also a pressure gauge. you would just fill it up with air and check for a pressure drop. just like a cooling system pressure test. i made a scetch of what it would look like.(excuse the shittyness of it, my mouse is hard to control.)

what do you think?

Lowes sells everything you need except valve stem and gauge.
I use somewhat the same thing to pressure test the entire system!
You have to clock the rotors in the right position or it just runs threw the motor!
